zine + grindhouse

i decided to start making a zine today

i have a few ideas for zines but the one i'm most called to right now is an idea to make my monthly playlist into a zine and then it can be a physical object 

I've got 3 pages so far. idea being it will be a simple 8 page folded zine using 8.5" by 11" paper

It's been nice to revisit my January this way. music can feel so temporary sometimes. I intensely listen to something and then it gets buried 30 songs down my liked playlist. sometimes those songs just go away off the app. 

i'll have to adjust margins, definitely, and do some tweaks to the images. So far I've been using album/single artwork. It started with Torn because I feel like the imagery for torn is so VISCERAL. and then it's just kind of fit since then for the other songs. i'm not sure if all songs will be this way. 

I hadn't ever paid much attention to the lyrics of Grindhouse, but they're a lil crazy.

but again, with the name, i suppose it all makes sense.
anyway, i like the music ahahaha
