thrifted books + dead hangs

Today the plans were pretty simple: 

(1) go to the thrift store

(2) get sandwiches

(3) eat them at a brewery

(4) go to the gym

perfectly executed and i did dead hangs and captain's chair crunches for the first time.

I got two books from the thrift store - a John Steinbeck I'd never heard of before, The Pastures of Heaven, and Cloud Atlas. 

I also got a few children's books for a birthday that's coming up.

I got some THICK 100% cotton black carpenter's jeans and a Betsey Johnson dinosaur purse. 

The super bowl had kind of started playing when we were eating our sandwiches at the bar, but it was just the opening stuff. 

And then later at home we watched some of the winter Olympics and saw Ilia Malinin aka THE QUAD GOD figure skate and, my goodness, I don't think I've ever screamed at real figure skating (but I've definitely screamed at Yuri on Ice and Ranma 1/2)
